Bloody Butcher Corn photograph
We grew Bloody Butcher corn this year from heirloom seeds. Legend has it this red corn originated in the 1800’s when settlers inter-planted Native American corn seeds with the settlers white corn seeds. Unusually beautiful ground as cornmeal. Bloody Butcher Corn has also been traditionally used an ornamental corn, hanging on the door of  many a country cabin.
